Reminder: Tomorrow, Thursday 12/19, is an early dismissal day. William Perry will begin calling car riders at 12:40 PM, and all students must be picked up by 1:00 PM. Bus riders will leave at 12:40 PM, so please plan to be at the bus stop on time to avoid missing your student. Have a safe and healthy holiday break!

The RTR Teacher Residency Program at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in partnership with Waynesboro Public Schools offers a hands-on, school-based teacher preparation experience. Through both graduate and undergraduate pathways, residents gain the knowledge, skills, and real-world experience needed to be effective educators. If you already have your associate or bachelor’s degree, one of our pathways could be right for you! This program also offers:
a full salary and benefits as an employee of the school division for those pursuing their bachelor’s degree
a stipend to cover the cost of your degree or certificate in education, leading to teacher licensure eligibility in elementary, secondary, or special education for graduate and undergraduate pathways
