Westwood Hills

Westwood celebrated International Dot Day on Friday, September 15, 2023. This day is meant to celebrate creativity, collaboration and building courage to try something new and different. The theme “Make a mark and see where it takes you!” Originated with author and artist, Peter H. Reynolds in his book, “The Dot”. Musician, Emily Arrow took the story and created a song which you child could be singing! Check it out on You Tube and watch your child’s face! Classes spent the week preparing for dot day by tracing dots, texturing dots, cutting out dots, stamping dots, coloring dots, painting dots and Ms. Lint is cleaning up dots! It really was a fabulous and energetic week in the art room!
