Westwood Hills

Thank you to Officer Jessie Shaver and his dog, Officer Barkley, for coming to Westwood Elementary on Friday! They got to show the kindergarten classes and students from the CLM classroom what a police officer is and what they do. Officer Shaver showed the students what he wears for his job and what each tool is used for. The students also got to understand what Officer Barkly does as a police dog and how he helps Officer Shaver. The students were able to pet officer Barkly and see him up close in person. They had a great time meeting a real life police officer and his police dog!
