We were thrilled to have Libby Caister, a student who served as a page for the Virginia House of Delegates, share her incredible experience with KCMS students! Libby talked about her journey, the valuable lessons she learned, and the importance of civic engagement.

KCMS Walk to School Day will be on Monday, Oct 7th 2024!
Join students around the world to celebrate the benefits of walking! During walk to school day, car riders are asked to drop off your child at the Embrace Community Center parking lot at 932 Fir Street. Volunteers will be on-site and along the walking route to direct your child to school. All students who ride the bus will be dropped off at the Embrace Community Center and then walk to school. Volunteers will be on-site and along the walking route to direct your child to school.
If you would prefer your student opt out of participating, please complete the form below and return or email Coach Napier, jnapier@waynesboro.k12.va.us or Mrs. Nester, mnester@waynesboro.k12.va.us.
All students will follow their normal transportation plan at dismissal in the afternoons.

Picture Retakes/Make-Up Picture Day is Monday, September 30th.
If you are interested in your student RETAKING their picture, please email Mrs. Pangle, bpangle@waynesboro.k12.va.us, before Monday at 7 AM.
Any student who missed Picture Day is already on the list for retakes.

Don’t forget! The Waynesboro Education Farm Student Run Market is open every Thursday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the WHS parking lot on W. Main Street (left of the high school). Come support our students and pick up fresh, locally grown produce. This market runs until October 10th, so mark your calendars and stop by each week for farm-fresh goodness!
