Superintendent's Message

Welcome

The School Board, Faculty and Staff of Waynesboro Public Schools values the opportunity to provide quality educational experiences for the families of Waynesboro and take “Giant Pride” in meeting your high expectations for student success.

As we prepare students to meet the goals of Virginia’s Profile of a Graduate, Waynesboro’s programs reflect a rapidly changing world.  Our focus is on providing engaging and diverse opportunities that meet the needs of all students in a safe, secure, and comfortable environment.  The success of our students is best achieved through strong relationships and ongoing communication between home and school.

We look forward to working with you to continually grow and strengthen partnerships that assure happy and successful educational experiences for all students.

Jeffrey D. Cassell, Ed.D.
Superintendent
